Tell me more about these unique Tree Of Life Paintings.

For producing your Tree Of Life painting, your photo is first edited with your chosen tree and root by our lovely Allucia from Tree Of Life Breastfeeding, I  then use Adobe Photoshop to edit the photo.

After that, the photo is printed out as a vinyl stencil. A synthetic paper is used on which the photo is applied.

Once the photo is applied to the synthetic paper, the painting process starts using the alcohol inks. The negative white space is created in the painting using your precious family photo.

The gallery at Gina Jones Creations features a superior collection of paintings.

Amazing art, amazing to work with, such a sweet soul. I would give you a 10/5, if I could!

Is There An Age Limit On The Breastmilk?

No, you can use breastmilk that is several years old and it will still be fine to include in the artwork. The recommendations you see regarding storage times for breastmilk is applicable to when you are feeding your milk to your infant/child only.

Can I Use Frozen Breastmilk?

Yes, frozen breastmilk is perfectly fine to use. If you are not wanting to defrost a whole bag, break off a piece of frozen breastmilk roughly 6cm x 6xm and 1cm thick.

This works out to roughly 10mls.

Do You Take International Orders?

Yes I do. I have been granted an import license from the Australian department of agriculture. Further information can be found on the Order Process page, but please let me know if you need more information.

Can you back up your claims about the Breastmilk Portrait Paintings not spoiling and growing mold?

Yes. I have conducted a yeast and mold test through Symbio Laboratories. The samples came back with zero yeast or mold growth.

A copy of the report can be found here is you wish to read it.

What sort of photos can I use for the Family Portrait Paintings and Breastmilk Portrait Paintings?

Here are some tips for selecting the right photos to send in:

Make sure the photos are a minimum of 500kb (if its smaller let me know, I may still be able to work with it)

Make sure the top of the head is not cut off, if its only slightly cut off that's fine, I can edit it.

Looking away from the camera gives more of a natural look, but its entirely up to you if you would prefer to go with a different photo.

What is the turn around time for the Family Portrait Paintings and Breastmilk Portrait Paintings?

Please expect up to 2 weeks to complete the painting. This excludes shipping times.

Do you guarantee your work?

I like my customers to be happy with their painting as this is something they will treasure for many years.
If the painting arrives damaged, or grows mold i will replace the painting free of charge.

No, you are absolutely fine to send the breastmilk in the post.

Gina Jones Creations have done thorough testing and can confirm that zero mold or mildew grows on the paintings, nor does it produce any smell.

How Is The Breastmilk Preserved?

Breastmilk jewellers use breastmilk preservation powders. This varies between different jewellers, and most will keep their method as a closely guarded secret.

My first painting I tried using preservation powder and the effect was very gritty, it just looked terrible in a painting.

so I decided I would develop my own method. The method has been in development for a long time, and finally I have a result that doesn't spoil, does not smell, gives a smooth result and is a process I can proudly stand behind.

As this is a process developed by myself I have protected the Breastmilk Portrait Paintings under Intellectual Property. As a result the process can not be disclosed to the public, however I give my clients a 5 year warranty on my paintings for reassurance that I have 100% faith in these paintings and that you can have confidence in your purchase.

Also, this means that since this process is not publicly disclosed, by purchasing one of these paintings it will have an even more exclusive allure as they will be limited in numbers.

Family Portrait Paintings, how do you make them and what medium do you use?

I use your precious family photo or any given photo to create the negative white space that you will see on example paintings on the website.

The paintings are created with alcohol inks, and synthetic paper.
